History

Crossway Crisis Centre was founded in 1999, to support women and their partners facing the trauma of an unplanned pregnancy or pregnancy loss. We became a charity in 2005. Based in Twickenham we work in the boroughs of Richmond, Hounslow and Kingston.

Our work has expanded and we now also teach relationship and sex education in schools and youth clubs, a relationship course in prisons and provide a counselling service for the termination clinic at a local hospital.

As an independent pregnancy centre we are committed to offering professional standards of non-judgemental care and support to people having to decide whether to continue with a pregnancy. We adhere to the ethical framework for good practice for counselling and psychotherapy as laid down by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.

Annual Reports

I wanted to thank Crossways for helping me make one of the toughest decisions of my life. Your centre.. and staff.. made more difference to my life than you can ever imagine.

It was such a relief to be able to speak about all the overwhelming fears in my head at a time when I did not want to confide in friends or family, and my husband was in a struggle of his own.

*Please note we are not able to refer directly for termination. We offer clients information on all the options and are well-resourced to provide both immediate and long term support as necessary, directing to other agencies as appropriate.
